I just have a quick silly question, because I've never had to use tags before.

So to use them, I just put my tag (& that of anyone I am in contact with/to whom the post is directly relevant???) in the 'tags' section in a post? And their function is for searchability as well as letting others know when they're tagged in a post, correct?
